DISCOVER MIAMI CITY TOUR

We will start our tour with the emblematic area of ​​Miami Beach, specifically we will visit the southern most part of the island going through OceanDrive street, where we can see a large number of buildings that date back to the 1930´s with its Art Deco architecture and pastel colors. We will make a short stop to appreciate the famous Casuarina mansion that once belonged to the late fashion designer Gianni Versace in the early 90s.

 

We will exit the island west bound, passing by the numerous man made residential islands that are located in this sector, where many of the famous people who inhabit Miami reside. We will enter the city of Miami via downtown, making a north turn taking us to the Wynwood urban art neighborhood, where we will stop at Wynwood Walls, where this urban art movement began with the famous graffiti that represents a rebirth to this forgotten industrial zone.

 

We will leave Wynwood behind as we head south bound to enter downtown Miami, as we pass by the beloved American Airlines Arena or as locals call it "The triple A" home to the Miami Heat Basketball team. We will see the Freedom Tower, with its characteristic mediterranean design that stands out with so many modern buildings in this developing concrete jungle.

 

Leaving Brickell behind, in just a few minutes we will begin to notice the lush vegetation of the area, this means that we have entered the oldest continuously inhabited area of Miami, Coconut Grove. Its streets takes us back to the early 1870`s when the Peacock family arrived from England to this area. To continue our Tour we will travel west bound to enter Coral Gables, the city founded by George Merrick in the early 1920´s the mediterranean looking streets will take us to the historic Biltmore hotel and the venetian pool.

 

to finalize our tour, we will go to Little Havana where we can feel the latin atmosphere and colorful of the area. You will have the option to visit a Cigar shop, where the Cuban hand rolling cigar technique is still used, you can also enjoy a nice "coladita" famous cuban coffee, and walk around the Domino Park Maximo Gomez.
